A seven-speed drivetrain with Shimano’s Revoshift twist shifters is easy to learn how to shift and master and is enough gearing to get around the neighborhood comfortably. Just one chainring in front simplifies shifting, too. There’s a full-wrap chainguard to keep the chain in place and clothes and legs out of the chain’s way, and Jamis pedals offer a non-slip insert that keeps feet and shoes in full contact even when wet for safe and secure pedaling.
